Engine and Transmission Center is the only transmission service and repair shop you’ll ever need.

“I want to start off by saying this place is amazing and the mechanics here are very knowledgeable. I had issues with my 09 jeep wrangler and Todd took care of me and worked with me even after 2 months of waiting for the right parts.( issues with other companies) Never had any issues with getting updates of the work being and done and the quality of the work is amazing as well as the time it was done. I would recommend this place for anyone that has issues with there vehicles. If you need anything done from the transmission to the rear diff Keith is your man. Thank you guys for the patience and everything you did for me I really appreciate it.” – Gerald S.

“Great Work, The staff is very personable and understanding of my mechanical needs and the cost to fix the problem.” -Selena L.

“Definitely the place for auto repairs. Knowledgeable, friendly and willing to work with you. I found the cost to rebuild my transmission and install struts that I already had, to be *more* than fair and reasonable. The work was done before I expected and I’m very happy with how the transmission shifts now. It’s nice to hear there is actually road noise from the tires, the tranny used to drown that out ? These guys are over 50 miles from where I live, but 10 miles from where my son goes to school. I have lots of things to juggle during the day and a full rebuild on my 2003 Explorer’s transmission was just one more thing to have to worry about. I chose this place based on their reasonable response to an earlier less-than-happy review. When I met the staff, I continued to be impressed with how they work with their customers. For women, often shops will marginalize you regardless of your knowledge. That’s not how these guys operate. Every engagement was respectful, friendly and often funny. Last thought… Transmission repairs are one of the more expensive things you can face. If you are worried about the cost, at least talk to them. They will explain to you the range from the cheapest fix if possible, to, sorry this is worn out (as in my case) before you get into it, and they will do their best to help you find a way to get the payment figured out, you just have to give them a chance. Thanks Dawn, Scott, George and the nice gentleman who’s the builder but I never caught his name.” – Elizabeth L.

“After a small hiccup, the owner reached out to me and fixed the entire issue. It’s one thing to have a good shop, even better to know the shop wants to earn your business, and keep it. Can’t say enough about Scott making an effort to make sure I was happy, and taking care of my car.” -Michael T.

“I came in with an insurance related issue. My car was involved in a accident on the highway where a piece of plywood was thrown into my car from the car in front of me. I took the car and had it fixed at another dealer and when I picked it up on the drive home I noticed that the transmission was slipping. Long story short the insurance company was denying any fault due to the accident. I called around to seven or eight shops to have a second opinion and chose Scott to help me out on this matter. And yes they do offer a 2 year, 24 thousand mile warranty.
Yes they give you a guesstimate on how much they think it would be, but so did the other seven shops I called. My car is a 2007 with only 37000 original miles on it. That never had issues with it until the accident. My insurance company was set on denying my claim from the start on a recommendation from the dealer who could only guess what was wrong. Now if anyone has had a transmission issue before you know the only way to tell what is wrong with it is to open it up and look to find the problem. Scott worked with me over a three week period of going back and forth with my insurance company. His shop and staff spent countless hours on the phone with this person and that person trying to explain these issues even though they didn’t want to hear from me or them. The insurance company decided to go inspect my transmission before the shop had time to prepare any paperwork or at a time where Scott would be present to explain any issues. I finally had to call my insurance company to tell them the problems i was having with my adjuster and his boss. They scheduled a meeting with Me,Scott, and a regional technician. Scott was a major reason why in the end, they finally looked at my transmission (which was laying on a table at this point) and seen that it was accident related. They treated me like family even when I was calling every three hours to try and coordinate phone calls between everyone. I was taken care of the right way and I recommend them highly. Thanks again Scott and all your staff, I hope you enjoyed the pizza and wings I sent over you deserve it!” – Bill W.
